My baby is 4 months now and i stopped feeding recently. My nipples have become quite big and dark and im feeling very conscious about it. Does it go back on its own with time or is there something that helps? bit shy to ask anyone in person.
This is super common after pregnancy and feeding. Theres no quick fix, it mostly evens out naturally with time once hormones settle. Dont fall for creams claiming instant results, waste of money.
I totally get this, so many of us notice changes and feel a bit conscious. It often eases gradually after the breastfeeding phase ends. If it really bothers you, a gynac or skin doc can guide you properly.
After feeding for months mine changed a lot too, and honestly they settled quite a bit on their own once I stopped nursing. The body adjusts over time. Give it patience before worrying, its very normal postpartum.
