How to reduce post pregnancy belly after normal delivery?
My baby is almost 3 months now and the tummy is still there yaar, looks like im still pregnant. Normal delivery hua tha so im not sure when i can start any exercise. Anyone who got back in shape, what worked for u?
Honestly, it takes time. Like, a lot of time! My belly didn't just disappear overnight after my delivery. Focus on your recovery and baby in the first few months. Gentle walks and a healthy diet when you feel up to it. It gradually comes down, don't rush it, your body did an amazing thing!
After my delivery, the nurses at the hospital were really helpful. They showed me some gentle post-partum exercises and talked about diet. It’s best to ask your gynac or the hospital's physiotherapist specifically what you can do and when. Every body is different, so personal advice is key.
The uterus takes time to shrink back, usually 6 weeks. Gentle exercises like walking and pelvic floor exercises (Kegels) are good, but only after your doctor gives the go-ahead. Binding can offer some support but isn't a magic fix. Focus on nourishing food and rest.
Belly binding with a saree or a cloth after delivery really helps for support, and also helps the uterus contract. Also, ghar ka light khaana and a bit of walking once your doc clears you. Don't expect instant results, it's a slow process.
Realistically, it's a slow process, especially with a newborn. Focus on healthy, balanced meals and simple walks whenever you get a chance. Don't push yourself too hard too soon. My doc said gentle core exercises once cleared, but finding time is the real challenge!
