My liver values, the SGPT one, came slightly high in my routine bloods and now im a bit worried. Doc is monitoring it. Has anyone had this in pregnancy, did diet or anything help bring it down? Just want to hear ur experience.
Mildly raised SGPT can happen, but the cause matters and only a doctor can tell. Eating clean home cooked meals, cutting fried food and drinking water can support liver health. Still, doctor follow up is a must here, not optional.
Raised SGPT relates to the liver, so please dont try to fix this with home tips alone. My levels were watched closely and the doctor decided everything. Get your gynac to review the report properly, this needs medical attention.
My doctor said elevated liver enzymes in pregnancy need to be investigated to rule out causes, so they repeat tests and check symptoms. Generally they advise rest, good hydration, avoiding oily heavy food and no self medication. But the management really depends on why it's high, so follow your doctor.
I had slightly raised enzymes once and honestly I just did what the doctor said, ate light home food and stayed hydrated. I wouldnt suggest any remedy beyond that because liver values need a doctor's eye. Please get it reviewed properly.
