My back has started aching quite a bit, and I'm only a few months into my pregnancy. What are some safe and easy ways to help relieve this pregnancy-related back pain?
Sit straight, wear flat comfortable shoes, and use a warm compress on your lower back. Don't stand for too long and never bend directly to lift things.
Please avoid sleeping on your back and sleep on your side instead. Gentle pelvic tilts helped me, and keeping my posture correct made my recovery so much smoother later on.
Back pain can also be due to calcium deficiency, so please ask your doctor to check your levels. My gynac adjusted my calcium supplements during my regular thyroid follow-ups and it really helped.
My tracker app suggested doing cat-cow stretches and using a pregnancy pillow between the knees. It honestly made a huge difference to my sleep quality!
