Sleep with your head a bit raised on an extra pillow, that single thing helped me most at night. Smaller meals, less oily food, and dont drink too much water with meals. Worked better than anything for me.
Heartburn was the worst for me. Eating small portions and avoiding fried, spicy stuff helped a lot. I also didnt lie down right after eating, waited an hour. For anything regular i checked with my doc before taking any antacid.
Yaar heartburn in pregnancy is so common, dont stress. Actually cutting down on tea and spicy food made a big diff for me. And eating dinner early, not right before bed. If its very bad, ask gynac for a safe antacid.
Its annoying but very normal, especially later when baby pushes up. Keep meals light and frequent, avoid lying flat. If it becomes too much or comes with pain, just flag it to your doctor to be safe.
Beta in our time we sipped cold milk or coconut water for that burning, used to soothe it. Eat slowly and not too much at once. But if it stays bad regularly, do mention to your doctor, dont just keep adjusting.
