Walking has become painful because the front pelvic bone hurts, especially when turning in bed. I am in third trimester and it is making me slow. What helped you manage this pain?
I had this pelvic pain in my last trimester, it really aches na. What helped me was a pregnancy support belt, sleeping with a pillow between my knees, and not standing too long. Gentle movement, no sudden twists. If it gets sharp or shooting, do mention to ur doctor.
My physio (doc referred me) gave me gentle pelvic exercises and that pillow between the knees trick worked wonders. Avoid sitting cross legged and getting up suddenly. Dont try random youtube exercises though, ask ur doctor for safe ones for ur stage.
Common as the body loosens up for delivery. Warm compress, support belt, dont stand or walk for too long at a stretch, and move both legs together when getting out of bed. If the pain is severe or you cant walk properly, get it checked, dont just bear it.
My mom would do a gentle warm towel press on my lower back and hips, that soothed it. She also made me rest more and not overdo housework. Small things help but if its really paining, listen to ur gynac before trying anything strong.
It happens as the joints soften for baby, very normal but uncomfortable I know. Rest, warm compress, avoid heavy lifting and sudden moves. Be gentle with urself. And if walking becomes hard or pain is sharp, please flag it to ur doctor.
