How to relieve severe constipation during pregnancy?
Honestly this is making me so uncomfortable. Almost 5 months and the constipation is bohot bad, i drink water and eat fruits still no relief. What worked for you all? Pls share, im desperate.
Since I had a high-risk pregnancy with multiple complications, I was strictly told never to strain or take any over-the-counter laxatives. Straining can sometimes cause issues, so please don't experiment with random home remedies. Talk to your gynac and let them prescribe a safe stool softener.
Severe constipation can sometimes lead to painful piles, which means extra doctor visits and expensive medicine bills. To avoid unnecessary hospital expenses, try simple things first like eating high-fiber foods, green veggies, and drinking lots of water. Keep a budget aside for regular checkups just in case.
When I faced this, I immediately called my hospital's dedicated maternity helpline and they put me through to my doctor. My gynac at Apollo recommended a very safe syrup that worked like a charm. Don't hesitate to call your hospital staff and ask them directly, they are there to help!
Try drinking warm water first thing in the morning and eat more fiber-rich fruits like apples. It will get better soon, dear. Just take care of yourself.
Omg, the pregnancy constipation was real, I literally spent half my day on the toilet pot crying! Honestly, drinking loads of warm water and eating papaya (only after checking with my doc) saved me. Now my baby keeps me awake all night, but at least my bowel movements are back to normal!
I have heard from my elder sisters that drinking warm water and eating lots of green leafy vegetables really helps with this. I hope you find some relief very soon. Sending you lots of gentle wishes!
Oh dear, I feel your pain so much, it is honestly one of the most frustrating parts of pregnancy and nobody prepares you for it! Please don't lose heart, your body is doing so much hard work right now. Try having warm milk with ghee at night, it might gently help.
