The burning feeling after meals is unbearable now, especially at night when I lie down. Im in my third trimester. Cant give medical advice I know but pls share what worked for u all to get some relief.
Amma told me to chew on a little fennel and not sleep flat. Coconut water also felt soothing for me. But for the strong burning, my doctor gave a safe medicine, so check with yours too.
Thoda thanda doodh or a few soaked saunf seeds after food used to give relief in our time. Eat slowly, dont lie down immediately. But if it's really severe, do tell ur doctor for safe medicine.
Heartburn was brutal for me, especially at night. What helped, eating small meals, not lying down right after food, and propping up with extra pillows to sleep. Spicy and oily food made it ten times worse.
Ugh I feel u, it's the worst. Cold milk genuinely calmed mine. Avoid eating heavy at night yaar. And if its severe just ask ur doc, dont suffer through it.
Small frequent meals, no eating 2 hrs before bed, and sleep slightly upright. Cut out the fried and masaledar stuff. Both pregnancies this is what saved me, and a doctor-approved antacid for bad days.
For mild burning the home tricks help, but if it's severe and constant, ask ur gynac, they can give a safe antacid. Pls dont take any random tablet on ur own. Mine prescribed something that finally worked.
