To relieve stress, try to establish a simple, relaxing bedtime routine and keep yourself hydrated. Engaging in a hobby like knitting or reading positive books works wonders. We have all been there, and you will get through this beautifully.
A simple 20-minute evening walk in fresh air did wonders for my mental health. If your doctor allows, joining a prenatal yoga class is also amazing for calming the mind and relaxing your muscles. Physical movement really releases all that built-up tension.
I completely understand how terrifying this phase can feel, my anxiety was through the roof during my first trimester. Please don't feel guilty about feeling stressed. Try talking to your partner or a friend, and take things literally one day at a time.
The best way to cut the stress is to stay busy with things you love and limit your screen time. I've had two kids and honestly, reading scary birth stories is the worst thing you can do. Stick to your doctor's advice, keep a routine, and take it easy.
Try chanting or listening to peaceful spiritual music for 10 minutes every morning. Connecting with your inner peace helps create a beautiful, calm environment for the baby. Trust the universe, stay positive, and take care.
Honestly, cooking my favorite comfort foods or having a small piece of chocolate was my ultimate stress buster! Don't be too hard on yourself. Treat yourself to nice meals and watch a funny show to keep your mind happy.
I had horrible morning sickness which made my anxiety even worse because I felt so weak. What helped me was taking deep breaths and eating small, frequent meals so I didn't feel nauseous and cranky. Give yourself permission to just lie down and do nothing.
I just delivered last month and found that writing down my worries in a journal helped so much. Also, talking to other new moms on this community made me realize I wasn't alone. Try to pamper yourself with small things like a head massage.
Listen to me, it's completely normal to feel overwhelmed right now, but you need to take a deep breath. Try to stop googling every symptom because it only feeds the anxiety. Just focus on your breathing, listen to light music, and know that you are doing great.
