Im in my 5th month and one of my back teeth has been paining since two days, gets worse at night. Scared to take anything without asking and dentist appt is only next week. how do u all manage the pain till then?
Honestly just fix a dentist appt, don't drag it. Till then warm salt water and soft food only. I avoided sweets and cold water and that cut down the pain a lot for me.
Warm salt water rinse 2-3 times a day helped me a lot in both pregnancies. But don't keep ignoring it, go to a dentist. They can treat tooth issues in pregnancy safely, just tell them you're pregnant first.
Tooth pain can sometimes be a small infection so don't just bear it. I waited too long once and it became worse. Book a dentist, they do x-ray with shielding and clean it safely in pregnancy.
My amma told me to rinse with warm salt water and it did soothe it. Still I went to the dentist and they said gum sensitivity is common when pregnant. Safer to get it checked na.
Beta my mother always said gargle with warm salt water and avoid very hot or cold food. A little clove pressed on the tooth gives relief also. But for real pain pls show a dentist, no need to suffer.
