Im early in my second trimester and worried about gaining too much weight and becoming lazy. I dont want to overdo anything but i also dont want to just lie around. What did u all do to stay active and fit safely?
Walking is the easiest, 20-30 min a day did wonders for me. Eat home food, fruits, enough protein and water. Dont go on any diet, this is not the time to cut food.
I followed a prenatal workout app, gentle stretches and breathing mostly. Felt it helped my back pain a lot. Started only after my doctor said ok though.
I did prenatal yoga and daily walks after my doc cleared me. Nothing heavy, just light and consistent. Pls check with ur gynac before starting any exercise though, every pregnancy is different.
Simple things dear, light walks, fresh cooked food and good sleep. My amma always said dont overdo anything in pregnancy. I just stayed gently active and that was enough.
Staying fit for me was more about food balance, I had GD so I watched sugar closely. Small frequent meals and a walk after dinner helped. But pls follow what ur own doctor advises na.
