Gas is making my stomach feel tight and I keep burping after every meal. I am 14 weeks and even simple ghar ka food feels heavy. What helped you get relief from this bloating?
My amma told me to have a little jeera water and it genuinely settled my tummy. Also I cut down on too much curd and fried snacks. If it ever gets really painful though, do mention to gynac, she gave me something safe once when it was bad.
Beta, ajwain water and saunf after meals is what we always used, mild and safe for the tummy. Eat warm fresh food, avoid cold and heavy stuff. But if u get bad cramps along with it, then dont ignore, tell the doctor.
Gas is the most annoying part na. What worked for me, eat smaller meals more often instead of big ones, chew slowly, avoid too much fried and rajma chole types. A short walk after eating really helps move things along. Drink plenty water through the day.
When I was working through pregnancy, sitting all day made gas worse. So I'd get up and walk a few mins every hour, even just to the water cooler. Small frequent meals over heavy lunches. Realistically that and good hydration kept it manageable.
