Now that the belly is growing its getting really awkward and difficult to manage down there myself. Im in my 7th month. I dont know whats safe to use right now, razor, cream or just leave it. How are u all managing this?
Trimming or careful shaving is fine. Hair removal creams down there I'd avoid, skin is more sensitive and reactive now. If you have any skin condition there, just ask your gynac what's okay for you.
Trimming with scissors or a clean trimmer is the safest and easiest as the belly grows. Shaving works early on but gets hard to reach later. I avoided hot wax there because skin gets extra sensitive in pregnancy.
Just a gentle heads up, closer to delivery many hospitals trim that area themselves before a C-section anyway. So dont stress too much about it. Earlier on, careful trimming was easiest for me, waxing got too painful.
Yaar honestly as the bump grows it becomes so hard to even see down there. I just switched to trimming, much safer than risking a cut while shaving blind. Waxing actually hurt more than usual so I skipped it.
Because my skin got very sensitive and I had some issues, I kept it really simple with gentle trimming only. No creams, no hot wax, didnt want any irritation or infection. If your skin reacts easily, play safe and ask your doctor.
