My baby is 4 months now but the dark patches on my cheeks and around my neck just won't go. Honestly I didn't have any of this before pregnancy and now it's really bothering me. Anyone who had this after delivery, did it fade on its own or did u do something for it?
Most pregnancy pigmentation fades slowly post delivery, especially the linea nigra. Sunscreen daily makes the biggest difference. If something stubborn stays after a few months, see a dermat for safe options, especially if you're nursing.
Mine lightened gradually while breastfeeding, I didnt do much except sunscreen and home stuff. Avoid strong actives if you're nursing, some arent advised. Patience really did most of the work for me.
I got that dark line and patches after delivery and honestly a lot of it faded on its own over a few months. I just used sunscreen and a gentle moisturiser. Dont rush into harsh creams while recovering, give your skin time.
