First time pregnant and im a bit clueless about the whole scan process. Like do i just go to gynac or directly to a scan center? Pls explain how it works, thoda nervous about my first one.
Don't worry, a pregnancy scan is just a simple ultrasound. The doctor will put some gel on your belly and move a probe to see the baby on screen. It is completely safe for your little one.
Personally, I just went to the diagnostic center my gynac recommended. They do an ultrasound on your belly using some cool gel, it doesn't hurt at all and you get to see the baby.
You just need to visit a local ultrasound clinic with a doctor's prescription. Make sure to carry your files and drink some water beforehand if they ask, it's very cheap and simple.
The ultrasound scan is actually so cool because you get to see your baby! I always treated myself to a nice cheese paratha right after my scans because of all the walking around.
Look, you cannot scan at home. You have to book an appointment for an ultrasound scan at a clinic. Your doctor will write a prescription for it, so go get it done properly.
