Just found out im pregnant, barely a month in. I sit a lot at my desk job and now im overthinking even how to sit properly. Is there any wrong way? pls share what worked for you ladies.
Sitting is fine in month one, just dont stay seated for very long stretches. I'd get up and walk a little. If u want to do any sitting stretches or yoga, just check with ur doc first that ur cleared for it.
In the first month u can sit normally beta, the baby is very tiny and well protected. Just dont sit cross legged for too long or in any way that feels uncomfortable. Keep ur back supported, that's the main thing.
I work at a desk and in first month I just made sure to keep my back straight and feet flat, and get up every hour to stretch. The early sitting rules arent strict, comfort and not sitting stiff for long is what matters.
First month nothing special needed honestly, sit how u're comfortable. Just avoid slouching for hours and dont stay in one position too long. Keep a cushion behind ur back if u work at a desk.
