Im in my 8th month and sleep has become impossible. belly is too big, back hurts, and i keep waking up not knowing which side to lie on. how did u all manage sleeping comfortably at this stage?
Girl I am living this right now lol. Left side, pillow between the knees, one behind the back, and a small one under the bump. It's like building a fort every night but it's the only way I get any sleep.
I just went through this. What helped me was a long pillow to hug and keeping the head slightly raised because of acidity at night. Also dont drink too much water right before bed or you'll be up peeing constantly haha.
Realistically you wont sleep perfectly, the bump is big now. Left side, pillows for support, light early dinner and avoid screens right before bed. If you wake up on your back just turn back to the side, no panic.
Actually a pregnancy pillow saved me yaar in the 8th month. Left side karke, knees ke beech pillow. And if legs cramp at night, slow stretch karo, mere saath bhi hota tha. Hang in there, almost done.
Sleep on your left side mostly, it's best for blood flow to the baby. Use pillows for support under the belly and between legs. Avoid lying flat on your back for long. Small dinner and a wind down also helps.
