I am in 5th month and my usual back sleeping feels uncomfortable now. Side sleeping is okay for some time but hip starts hurting. How did you sleep comfortably around this month?
You dont need to buy an expensive pregnancy pillow. I just used two regular pillows, one between the knees and one to support the belly, worked perfectly. Side sleeping is the main thing.
Actually left side sleeping is best yaar, doc told me its good for blood flow to baby. Stuff a pillow behind your back too so you dont roll over. Took me a few nights to adjust honestly.
Start sleeping on your side now, left side is what most docs recommend. Put a pillow between your knees and one under the bump, makes a huge difference. I did this both times and slept way better.
I felt so restless around that time, couldnt get comfy. What saved me was a long pillow to hug and lying on my left side. Slowly my body got used to it. Hang in there, it gets manageable.
Dont worry if you wake up on your back sometimes dear, just turn back to your side. A pillow under the tummy and between the legs really helps. Keep the room cool and you will rest better.
