Third trimester chal raha hai and even climbing few stairs leaves me breathless. At night also i feel like i cant get full breath. Is there anything that helps with this? Pls share what worked for u.
Mild breathlessness is common as the baby grows, but please don't ignore it. It's better to invest in a routine blood check-up to rule out anemia rather than letting it escalate into expensive emergency treatments. Do check with your doctor at your next appointment.
I'm in my second trimester and I also start huffing and puffing after climbing just five steps! Is anyone else also facing this? My gynac said it's normal but told me to inform her if it gets worse or if I feel dizzy.
Haha, carrying twins meant I was panting like a steam engine just walking from the sofa to the kitchen! I used to sit cross-legged and do very slow breathing. Definitely tell your doctor though, just to make sure your oxygen and iron levels are perfect.
I completely understand how terrifying it feels when you can't breathe properly, it used to trigger my anxiety so badly. First, try to drink a glass of warm water and sit under a fan to calm down. Please call your doctor to get checked, as getting reassured by a medical professional is the best way to feel safe.
Don't worry, your baby is just using your lungs as a cushion! Try to slow down, take deep breaths, and don't do any speed-walking. But seriously, if you feel suffocated, drop everything and call your doc.
I had this too in my last trimester, I felt like I couldn't take a full breath. Sitting up straight with extra pillows behind my back helped me sleep so much better. But if you feel like you are gasping for air, please call your gynac immediately.
My mother-in-law used to make me sit in an airy room and told me to keep my chest elevated with pillows. It really helped ease the tightness. But she also insisted we call the doctor right away if the breathlessness didn't get better with rest.
