I'm in my first trimester and the nausea and vomiting are really getting to me. I feel so drained all the time. What are some effective ways to stop or at least reduce nausea and vomiting during pregnancy?
Eating small meals throughout the day and sniffing fresh lemon really helped me with nausea. Also, my gynac allowed me to do very light walking in the mornings which helped with my digestion and overall morning sickness. Don't push yourself though, and ask your doctor before doing any light exercises.
Beta, keep a small piece of ginger or some fennel seeds (saunf) in your mouth when you feel like throwing up. Drink ginger-lemon water in small sips throughout the day. But if the vomiting is too severe and you feel very weak, then don't delay, go see your doctor.
I'm in my first trimester and literally everything makes me barf right now, it's so exhausting! I tried ginger tea but it didn't work for me, does lemon water really help or is there any other simple tip that worked for you guys?
Honestly, nausea was so bad for me even during my C-section recovery phase due to all the medicines. During pregnancy, keeping dry crackers near my bed and eating one before getting up really saved me. If you are vomiting too heavily and can't keep water down, please check with your doctor immediately.
Oh sweetheart, I totally understand how exhausting and draining this phase is, it breaks my heart to see moms going through this. Please try to suck on small ice chips or a piece of lemon when you feel sick. Just hold on, this beautiful journey will make it all worth it soon.
