I'm in my second trimester and lately, I've been getting mild stomach aches off and on. It's not very severe, but it makes me worried. What can I do to relieve this discomfort safely?
For mild gas pain, drinking warm water or eating a little hing is a cheap and effective home cure. But if the pain is severe or accompanied by spotting, don't wait to save money on OPD fees. Go straight to the hospital, safety is first.
I have also been feeling mild stretching pain in my lower tummy, my doctor said it's round ligament pain. Did any of you also feel this during your second trimester? If it's a mild ache, resting and sitting down helps me, but I hope it's not dangerous.
Haan na, stomach ache during pregnancy is so uncomfortable! Sometimes it's just heavy acidity or constipation. Try drinking warm milk or walking a bit, but if it doesn't go away, check with your doctor, okay?
Oh god, please take care. I used to overthink every tiny pain, thinking something is wrong with the baby. Try lying on your left side with a pillow between your knees to see if the pain reduces. But please, if it is sharp or constant, call your gynac immediately to be safe!
I have heard from my elders that mild stretching is normal as the body prepares. Maybe you can try resting for some time in a comfortable position. Hope you feel better soon.
Most of the time, mild stomach aches are just gas or your uterus stretching to make space for the baby. I used to panic at every small pinch, but looking back now that my baby is a toddler, I realize how much of it was just normal changes. Just drink plenty of water and rest.
