How to stop urine leakage when coughing during pregnancy?
This is so embarrassing yaar but every time i cough or sneeze a little leak happens. Im in my 3rd trimester now. Is there anything i can do at home for this? pls share if u went through same.
This can be so frustrating, I understand. It's often due to the pressure on your bladder. Doing Kegel exercises regularly can strengthen those muscles. However, if it's new or feels like a lot of leakage, please check with your doctor just to be sure it's not anything else.
Oh, this is super common! It's called stress incontinence, and it's because your growing uterus puts pressure on your bladder and weakens your pelvic floor muscles. Doing Kegel exercises is really effective. Try to do them consistently throughout your day, and always use a liner for safety.
This happens a lot in pregnancy due to pressure. I had thyroid issues so I was already having regular follow-ups. My doctor suggested Kegel exercises and also to just empty my bladder more often. If it's causing discomfort or worry, definitely bring it up with your doctor at your next appointment.
Haan na, yeh toh bahut common problem hai pregnancy mein! Meri gynac ne bola tha Kegel exercises karne ko. Bas apni pelvic floor muscles ko squeeze karna aur release karna, jaise pee rok rahe ho. Thoda thoda karte raho, fayda milega.
Haha, I totally remember this! It's super normal, don't worry. Your baby is just pressing down on your bladder. Start doing Kegel exercises daily, they really strengthen those muscles. Also, try to lean forward a bit when you cough. It does get better after delivery!
Beti, haan, yeh toh sabke saath hota hai pregnancy mein. Baccha jab bladder par pressure daalta hai na, toh aisa ho jaata hai. Paani kam mat peena, woh zaroori hai. Aur thode se pelvic floor exercises, doctor se pooch ke, kar sakti ho. Always consult your gynac for proper advice.
Ammi always told me this happens because of the pressure on the bladder. She suggested doing Kegel exercises regularly, the ones where you squeeze your pelvic floor muscles. Also, she would say to cross my legs quickly if I felt a cough coming. It did help me a little.
