How to strengthen abdominal muscles after pregnancy?
Delivered 4 months back and my tummy is still so loose, the muscles feel totally weak. Want to start something gentle at ghar. What worked for u all postpartum?
Listen, don't stress too much about that tummy pouch right now! Start with simple pelvic tilts and short walks when you feel ready, no need to jump into heavy gym workouts.
Your body has been through such a long, beautiful journey to bring your little one here. Please start with very gentle postpartum yoga only when your doctor permits, and be incredibly kind to your body.
Don't rush into it at all, your body took 9 months to stretch so give it time. My toddler is 2 now and only recently I started doing light planks, your core will naturally heal if you are patient.
Along with very gentle core exercises, keep your diet clean with high protein and low sugar. It helps rebuild muscle strength much faster, especially if you had to manage blood sugar during pregnancy.
Walking and basic breathing exercises like kapalbhati (only after doctor's green light) are great home ways to heal. But if you have any severe back pain or heavy bleeding, please stop everything and see your doctor.
