Just entered my 4th month and the early nausea is finally settling, feeling a little more like myself. First time mom so i want to make sure im eating right and doing the right things now. What should i focus on this month?
Fourth month is actually the nice phase, nausea usually eases. Eat balanced meals, keep up your iron and calcium, take a daily walk and rest well. Don't skip your scans and checkups, that's when the important tests come up.
I enjoyed my fourth month, I finally had energy back. I focused on eating proper home food, walking a bit daily and getting good sleep. Nothing fancy, just kept it simple and went for all my appointments.
I totally understand wanting to do everything right in this month. Just take care of yourself with good food, rest and a little walking, and don't forget to enjoy the small movements you might start feeling soon. It's such a special time, be gentle with yourself.
My doctor said the second trimester is a good time to be a bit more active and that the anomaly scan usually comes around now or soon after. She stressed iron, calcium and protein in the diet. Definitely follow your own gynac's schedule for the tests.
This phase felt peaceful for me. I tried to stay positive, listened to calming bhajans and kept my mind relaxed. Along with eating well and resting, keeping the heart light really helps in these months, I felt.
Around the fourth month I started planning my test budget because the anomaly scan and some blood tests come up. I compared a couple of labs for prices. Eating well doesn't need to be expensive either, simple dal, sabzi, fruits did the job.
