First pregnancy and im a little lost about the basics, like food, rest, walking, all of it. My mom is far away and MIL has very different ideas. Just want some real advice from women who've been through it, what should i focus on?
Take care of your mind too, not just the body. I kept myself calm, prayed, listened to soft music and stayed around positive people. Eat well, rest well and trust that things will be okay.
Daily walk did wonders for me, kept my energy and mood up. I also did light prenatal yoga but only after my doc cleared it. Stay active gently, hydrate, and rest when tired. Dont push too hard.
Regular gynac visits and your scans on time are the backbone. Beyond that, eat well, stay hydrated, gentle movement, enough rest. Whatever supplements or precautions your doctor advises for your case, follow those over random internet tips.
Keep it simple, eat balanced home food, take your folic acid and other prescribed supplements, walk a bit daily, sleep well and dont skip checkups. Dont stress over every little thing, your body knows what to do.
Be gentle with yourself beta. Good food, good sleep, your medicines on time, and dont overwork. Ask for help with chores without feeling bad. Happy mind is half the care.
Eat fresh home cooked food ya, plenty of fruits and water. My mom fed me lots of greens and dal. Rest properly and dont lift heavy. And whatever the doctor says, follow that first.
