How to take care of swollen feet during pregnancy?
Im in my 8th month and by evening mere feet itne swollen ho jate hai that my chappals dont even fit properly. Pura din office me baithi rehti hu so maybe thats why. How do u all manage this, koi gharelu tips?
I totally understand how exhausting and heavy those feet feel at the end of the day. Ask your husband to gently massage them with thoda warm mustard oil. You are doing amazing, mumma, please don't overexert yourself.
Since my husband is a doc, I get to hear this advice daily. Keep your feet elevated whenever you sit, and please avoid sitting with crossed legs. A simple warm water soak with salt works wonders.
Honestly, don't waste money on fancy creams and stuff. Just keep a small plastic stool under your feet whenever you sit on the sofa or chair. While sleeping, put two pillows under your legs and u will feel so much relief.
Oh swollen feet are like little balloons, totally get it! 🎈 Please switch to very loose slip-ons, avoid tight shoes at all costs. Also keep drinking water, it actually helps to reduce water retention. 😊
My gynac explained that baby's pressure slows down blood circulation, so sleeping on the left side helps a lot. She said normal swelling is fine but told me to keep checking BP. If u notice sudden swelling on face or hands, call your doctor immediately.
Mere feet literally became like fat aloo parathas in the third trimester, no kidding! I used to make my husband massage them and kept pillows underneath. Just put your legs up, relax, and binge watch some show, it gets better after delivery.
Swollen feet are very normal due to fluid retention but its best to let your gynac know. I found that wearing comfortable flats and taking short walks helped me. Don't stand for too long, okay?
