Im in my second trimester now and feeling the first little movements which is making me so emotional. I really want to start bonding and talking to my baby but feel a bit awkward not knowing what to say. How did you all do it?
My app had a section saying baby can hear from around the second trimester. So I started reading stories aloud and playing gentle music. Even my husband would talk to the belly, it became a sweet routine.
I used to talk to my bump every night before sleeping and I felt so connected. Just simple things like how my day went or singing softly. By the third trimester baby would kick when I spoke, it was magical.
I would play soft bhajans and read a little something good every morning, kept my mind peaceful. They say baby feels your calm energy. Just stay positive and speak to your little one with love.
I narrated everything to my bump, even my Netflix shows haha. No idea if baby understood but it made me happy. Honestly do whatever feels nice, theres no wrong way.
Just talk to your baby like you already know them, that is enough. Sing, hum, read, whatever feels natural to you. The bond builds slowly, dont overthink it.
Yaar dont make it complicated, just chat with your belly whenever you feel like. Music, talking, light touch, all of it counts. Enjoy this phase, it goes fast.
In our family they encourage reading slokas and good books during pregnancy, my mother did the same with me. I just spoke naturally to my baby through the day. It is more about feeling close than any fixed rule.
