Honestly a group message worked fine for me since everyone's busy. Some I told in person, rest on the group chat. Pick what's easy for u, friends just care that u shared, not how.
Just say it however feels natural yaar, dont overthink it. I told my close group over a casual coffee meet and they screamed. No need for fancy reveal, your excitement does the work.
