My period is 5 days late and i have a strip at home but never used one before. Bit nervous to be honest. Can someone explain how to do it properly, like morning urine and all?
Just get a home pregnancy strip or kit from any medical store, they are cheap. Use first morning urine, dip the strip or put few drops, wait few min. Two lines means positive, but always confirm with a blood test or gynac after.
Home kits are quite accurate if used correctly, but a faint line or doubt should be confirmed with a blood beta hcg test. Dont rely only on the strip for big decisions, see ur doctor to be sure.
I tested the same way recently, the kit comes with instructions inside. One thing, if you test too early it can show negative even if you are pregnant, so wait till a few days after missed period.
I was so nervous my first time doing this. I just used a Prega News strip with morning urine, waited 5 min. If line is faint, test again after 2 days, that is what worked for me.
