Its been about 5 months since my delivery and the tummy is still so loose and jiggly. I want to get back in shape but dont know where to start or whats safe while im still feeding. any tips?
First, please be patient with yourself, it took 9 months to grow that belly so it needs time. Mine took almost a year to feel firmer. Gentle walks and eating well helped me more than any crash thing. Dont rush.
With less time I just fit in walks whenever, even pushing the pram counts. Once cleared, 10 mins of gentle core at home. Realistically it takes months not weeks, so dont believe those quick fix reels yaar.
Slow and steady is the only real way. Start with gentle walking once your doctor clears you, then light core exercises later. Both times my tummy took months. Avoid skipping meals while feeding, you need the energy.
Dont be hard on yourself looking in the mirror, your body just did something huge. Once doctor allows, simple walks and home food, no fancy diets. It tightens up gradually. Give it the time it deserves.
Wait for your doctors okay first, especially if C-section. Then start with deep breathing and gentle core work, not heavy crunches early. Walking daily made a big difference for me. It is gradual, not overnight, so stay consistent.
Honestly breastfeeding itself helped my tummy shrink a bit faster. Dont diet hard while nursing though, your body needs nourishment. Light movement, lots of water and time, thats what worked for me slowly.
