We just started trying and im trying to understand my fertile days from my cycle. My periods are mostly regular. How do u all figure out the right days to actually plan it?
I used a period tracker app and it showed my fertile window, usually around 12-16 days before the next period. That window is when chances are highest. The apps estimate ovulation so it helped us a lot, both times I conceived using that.
Basic idea, ovulation happens roughly midway in ur cycle and the few days around it are most fertile. Track ur cycle length for a couple months to spot the pattern. If cycles are irregular, ovulation kits or a doctors help can pin it better.
Note ur period start dates for a few months so u know ur cycle length, then the fertile days fall around the middle. But dont stress over perfect timing beta, it puts pressure. Relax, stay regular and it usually happens naturally.

Just a gentle note, with PCOS like me the periods are irregular so the simple counting method didnt work. I had to use ovulation kits and later got my doctor to track it. So if ur cycle isnt regular, dont stress, get help to find ur window.
