My lower back has been killing me since the last couple weeks, sitting for long becomes so uncomfortable. Im 6 months now. how do you all manage it ghar pe? pls share what worked for you.
Backache is so common as the belly grows. What helped me was a good pillow between the knees while sleeping, sitting straight, and not standing too long. A warm compress on the lower back gives relief too. Avoid heavy lifting.
Sitting all day at work killed my back. I got a small lumbar cushion for my chair and made myself stand and walk a little every hour. Comfortable flat shoes also made a difference. Small changes, real relief.
My gynac okayed some gentle prenatal stretches and short walks and honestly that eased my back a lot. Posture matters big time. But please get your doctor to clear any exercise before starting, dont just copy youtube.
Mild backache is normal but i learnt the hard way to not ignore it. If the pain is severe, comes in a rhythm, or has any bleeding or pressure with it, that needs a doctor call, dont treat it at home. For normal aches, rest and warmth help.
My mother used to give me a gentle warm oil massage on the back and it felt so soothing. A small cushion behind the lower back while sitting also helped. If the pain becomes sharp or constant, do tell your doctor.
