Every time i brush my gums bleed now, never had this before pregnancy. Im in 2nd trimester and its a bit alarming. What did u all do to manage it, koi gharelu cheez that helped?
I have heard from my sister-in-law that gums get very sensitive in pregnancy. She used to rinse her mouth with warm water and a little salt. I am keeping this in mind for when my turn comes!
My gums bled a lot during my pregnancy, especially in the mornings. I started brushing very gently with a soft-bristled brush and avoided spicy food which used to irritate my mouth. It really helped manage the discomfort.
Bleeding gums are super common because of pregnancy hormones. I used to do warm salt water rinses twice a day, it really helped soothe the swelling. Also, use a super soft toothbrush and don't brush too hard.
This is just pregnancy gingivitis caused by hormonal changes increasing blood flow to gums. Just maintain good oral hygiene with a soft brush and warm saline rinses. But do visit a dentist for a quick cleaning if the bleeding is too much, they know what's safe.
I went through this too during my second trimester, my gums would bleed every time I spat out. My dentist suggested using a very soft brush and drinking plenty of water. It slowly went away after my delivery, so hang in there!
