My hands and wrists have been going numb and tingly especially at night, im in my third trimester. The doctor said its common in pregnancy but it really disturbs my sleep. Did anything help you find some relief?
I sit at a laptop all day so this hit me hard. Taking small breaks, shaking out my hands and not sleeping on my wrists made a real difference. Ask your doc about a splint, mine recommended one and it was a lifesaver during work hours.
I felt so scared when my fingers went numb, I thought something was wrong. Doc reassured me it's common in pregnancy and it really did fade after my baby came. Hang in there, it does get better.
Mine got quite bad with tingling and weakness, so please dont just self treat. Do mention it to your gynac because they can rule out other things and guide you on a brace. Better to get it checked than guess.
I had this in my third trimester, wrists going numb at night. My gynac said it's from fluid retention and usually goes after delivery. She suggested a wrist splint at night and keeping hands elevated, which actually helped a lot.
