Whenever I had mild cramping, I would just lie down on my left side and drink a big glass of warm water, which usually helped me feel better. However, I never took any medicine on my own. It's always best to let your doctor know if the pain doesn't stop.
I'm in my 18th week and I've been getting these mild pulling cramps on the sides of my stomach, which they say is round ligament pain. But I still feel slightly anxious every time it happens. Are any of you also feeling these cramps in your second trimester?
My uterus is stretching so much in this 3rd trimester that I get random mild cramps just from sitting down! I find that a warm bath or just lying on my side helps ease them. But if they get too painful, I definitely call my doctor instead of taking any chances.
With a busy office routine, mild cramps often happened if I sat in one position for too long. I started taking short walks every hour and kept myself hydrated at my desk, which really reduced the cramping. But if they are intense or constant, please take a sick leave and visit your doctor.
My saas always tells me to drink warm milk with a little ghee when I get mild belly cramps, and resting with a pillow under my legs really helps. But my MIL also strictly says that if there is any bleeding or severe pain, we should immediately run to the clinic.
