The acidity and burning has been really bad lately, especially at night i can barely sleep properly. Dont want to take anything without asking my doc. Anyone found something that genuinely helped?
Eat little and often, keep dinner early and light, and prop yourself up a bit when resting. Cut chai, coffee and fried food which made mine worse. My gynac gave me a safe antacid to keep on hand, so ask yours, dont pick one yourself.
Small frequent meals, avoiding spicy oily food and not lying down straight after eating helped my acidity a lot. Cold milk and coconut water soothed the burn. For any antacid or medicine though, please ask your doctor first, and if the pain is severe or constant, get it checked.
Yaar gastritis in pregnancy is so annoying, actually cutting down on spicy outside food made a big difference for me. Thoda jeera water and small meals also helped. For tablets I checked with my doc, you should too na.
