The burning in my chest after eating is bohot bad these days, im 7 months now. I dont want to keep popping anything without asking gynac first. How did you all manage this acidity reflux thing?
I totally understand how exhausting and painful that constant burning feeling is, dear. Try to have a little cold milk or walk slowly around the house after your meals. Please talk to your gynac if it gets too painful, don't suffer in silence.
Managing acid reflux with two babies pushing up against my stomach was pure torture! What worked for me was eating tiny meals every 2 hours and sleeping with 3 pillows to stay propped up. Otherwise, it felt like a volcano in my throat!
Ah, the dragon breath phase! I felt like I could spit fire because of the acidity. Avoid lying down immediately after eating, and try having cold milk—it acts like a fire extinguisher!
GERD is so frustrating, but since I had gestational diabetes, I had to be very careful. I couldn't have sugary cold milk or heavy snacks. I relied on small portions of simple, non-spicy food and walked a bit after meals, which really helped without messing with my sugars.
Gentle walking after dinner really helped my digestion, but make sure your gynac clears it first. Don't do any heavy yoga poses that involve bending down as it makes the acid reflux worse. Stick to light, upright movements.
