Third trimester and the burning after every meal is killing me yaar, even water feels like it comes back up. Cant sleep properly at night. How do u all manage this?
I totally understand how uncomfortable and draining this heartburn can be, dear. It makes eating so difficult. Try having small sips of coconut water during the day, it is so soothing. Hang in there, you are doing great!
Beta, cold milk is the best for this. Just have half a cup of cold milk whenever you feel burning in your chest. Also, try to eat small meals and don't lie down right after eating.
Oh, I remember this phase so well, my little one is a toddler now but that heartburn felt endless! Honestly, it goes away as soon as the baby is born. For now, try chewing some fennel seeds (saunf) after food, it really helped me.
Having PCOS made my pregnancy digestion quite tricky. I had bad acidity too, but I avoided taking random over-the-counter antacids without asking my gynac. Try eating light, non-greasy food and ask your doc if it gets too painful.
I am actually reading up on this because we are planning soon. I heard eating small portions and sleeping with a slightly raised pillow helps a lot. Let me know if that works for you!
Haha, welcome to the dragon club! My throat literally felt like it was on fire during my 2nd trimester. Just keep some cold buttermilk ready and avoid anything spicy unless you want to blow fire again!
