Beta a glass of cold milk or some cool curd soothes the burning nicely. Eat slowly, avoid heavy fried things at night and dont sleep flat right after dinner. If nothing helps, then do ask your doctor.
Smaller frequent meals, avoiding spicy and fried food and not lying down right after eating made the biggest difference for me. Sleeping slightly propped up with an extra pillow helped at night. If it is really bad, ask your gynac for a safe antacid rather than picking one yourself.
Heartburn in the last trimester was honestly worse than the early nausea for me. Cold milk, small meals and staying upright after eating gave relief. I totally get how miserable it feels, it does end after delivery.
