My bp keeps coming on the lower side and i feel dizzy when i stand up suddenly, almost felt like fainting yesterday. Im 5 months. Im going to mention it to my gynac but meanwhile what helps to keep it up?
My amma always said eat on time and dont stay empty stomach, that does help with the dizziness. Coconut water also kept me hydrated. But do show your bp readings to the gynac so she can guide properly for your case.
I used to panic everytime I felt lightheaded thinking something is wrong with baby. My doc explained low bp is common in pregnancy and reassured me. Maybe note down when it happens and tell her, that calmed me a lot.
Low bp can make you faint which is risky when pregnant, so dont take it casually. I had episodes and my doctor monitored it closely. If you ever feel like blacking out or very dizzy please get checked, dont just google home tips.
Honestly the small stuff helped me most, eating something every 2-3 hrs and not skipping breakfast even on busy mornings. Standing too long in office made me dizzy so I kept sitting. Keep a bottle of water on your desk always.
Get up slowly na, especially from lying down, thats where most of us get the head spin. Small frequent meals and lots of fluids. And dont stress too much, just mention it at your next visit.
I felt so dizzy in my second trimester, turned out my bp was on the lower side. What helped me was sipping water through the day and not getting up too fast from bed. But please tell your gynac because mine adjusted few things after seeing my readings.
