I have thyroid since before and now im 8 weeks pregnant, thoda tension ho raha hai about managing it properly. My gynac is monitoring but I wanted to know how others handled their thyroid during pregnancy.
Ugh, dealing with thyroid meds when you're already feeling nauseous must be tough! Make sure you take it first thing in the morning on an empty stomach, and wait at least 30-45 mins before eating anything. This really helps it absorb properly. Pls talk to your gynac about your levels.
Honestly, I panicked so much when they told me I had thyroid during pregnancy. But my doctor said it's very common and completely manageable with proper medication. Just follow your doctor's instructions strictly, and everything will be fine. Don't stress like I did!
Oh, same here! I just found out I have borderline thyroid and my gynac put me on medication. Is your dose also changing frequently? I'm worried about the baby if the levels are not stable.
Haan thyroid toh bahut common hai pregnancy mein. Mere saath bhi hua tha. Bas jo medicine doc ne di hai na, woh time pe lete rehna. Aur regular tests karwate rehna, woh adjust karte rehte hain dosage. Dont worry.
Just delivered my baby last month and I had thyroid throughout pregnancy. My doc just increased my dosage a bit as pregnancy progressed. Even after delivery, she asked me to continue the meds for a few months. So regular follow-ups are key, don't miss any!
