How to treat urine infection during pregnancy at home?
Im around 5 months and feeling that burning thing again while passing urine. I will def show my gynac but in the meantime is there anything safe I can do at home, like water or some gharelu cheez? Anyone been through this?
Please dont try to treat a UTI only at home during pregnancy, an untreated one can be serious for the baby. I had one and the doctor gave safe medicine that cleared it. Drink lots of water yes, but get it checked and treated properly by your gynac.
Beta, drinking plenty of water and staying clean helps, and these are good supportive things. But a real infection needs the doctor's medicine, home remedies alone are not enough in pregnancy. Please go and get it treated, dont delay.
My doc was firm that UTIs in pregnancy must be treated with safe prescribed medicine, not just home tips. Hydration, peeing fully and good hygiene help prevent them, but once you have symptoms like burning or fever, see the doctor. They use antibiotics that are safe in pregnancy.
