Been noticing a lot more white discharge since I entered second trimester. No bad smell or itching just the quantity is bugging me and making me uneasy. Is there something I should be doing about it or is it just normal pregnancy stuff?
Normal discharge needs no treatment, but if its yellow, green, smelly or itchy, dont treat it at home, see ur gynac. She may check for infection. Better to confirm than guess.
A mild white discharge is normal in pregnancy and doesnt really need treatment, just keep clean and dry. I wore cotton underwear and changed often. Only if it itches, smells or changes colour should u see the doctor.
My amma said normal white discharge is just the body's way and not to worry, my doctor agreed calmly. Stay clean and comfortable. If there's itching or a bad smell, then go to the gynac for treatment.
