Got my scan done yesterday and the report is full of short forms and numbers that i cant make sense of. My next appointment is only after a week so im sitting here confused. How do u read these?
I used to read every word and then panic over things that were perfectly normal. Please dont do that to yourself yaar. Let the doctor interpret it, that mental peace is worth it.
Honestly those reports have so many short forms it's confusing for everyone. I stopped trying to decode it myself and just asked my gynac line by line. She explained GA, EDD and the heartbeat clearly, that's the safest way.
My app had a small glossary that helped me get the basic terms like CRL and EDD. But for anything that looked off I always confirmed with my doc. Apps are good for understanding, not for diagnosing.
