My mom got me proper kesar and keeps saying mix it in milk daily. Im in 4th month but not sure how much or when to actually take it. Anyone using kesar, how do u do it?
I remember having a tiny bit of kesar milk every night in my third trimester, it just felt so soothing. My mom made sure I had it, saying it's good for the baby and a calm delivery. It felt like a special ritual.
You can add a few strands of kesar to warm milk, let it infuse for a bit, and then drink it. Usually, people start in the second or third trimester. Just don't overdo it, a few strands are enough.
If you have morning sickness, kesar milk might be difficult. But otherwise, a few strands in warm milk is what my doc recommended in my third trimester. It's supposed to be good, par haan, quantity ka dhyan rakhna.
I just had my baby last month! I used to put 2-3 strands of kesar in a glass of warm milk every night after dinner in my last trimester. My MIL used to make it for me. It was nice, felt like a treat.
