We are trying since 4 months and no luck. Bought an ovulation kit but honestly im confused about when to test and what the lines mean. Can someone who conceived using it pls share how u used it?
Listen, don't stress yourself too much with these kits first of all. You just need to test your urine around day 10 to 16 of your cycle, usually in afternoon. When you see two dark lines, that's your cue! Take it easy, everything will happen at the right time.
It's quite simple to use, just follow the package instructions carefully, usually testing mid-day works best. Along with this, make sure you are eating healthy and keeping your sugar levels in check from now itself. It really helps later.
I tried those kits for months but had some hormone issues so they kept showing confusing results. If you don't get a clear line after a couple of cycles, better to see a gynac. They can do a simple follicular study to track it properly.
Oh those tiny pee sticks! Basically you have to pee on them daily after your periods end until you see two dark lines. It's like waiting for a match on Tinder but for a baby, haha. Just don't make it a chore, keep it fun!
From what my husband always tells patients, test daily at the same time, preferably between 11 AM and 3 PM, not first morning urine. When the test line is as dark or darker than control line, you are about to ovulate. Plan intercourse for the next 2-3 days.
