Got a pregnancy card thing from the hospital at my first appointment but honestly dont fully get how to maintain it. Do I carry it every visit, what all goes in it? First pregnancy so everything is new to me.
Beta that card is your pregnancy record. Take it whenever you go to the doctor or for injections. The nurse or doctor will write everything in it, you just keep it carefully.
If you got it from a govt hospital it also helps for free tests, vaccines and the iron-calcium tablets. Keep it safe and take it each visit, they update it. Saved me a lot honestly.
I treated mine like a logbook, every scan report and test i clipped to it. Doc writes next visit date on it too. I even clicked photos of each page on phone as backup.
The pregnancy card or your mother-child card is where all your checkup details, weight, BP, scans get noted. Carry it to EVERY visit, even to the lab. Dont lose it, it has the whole history.
