Finally ordered one of those big U shaped pillows because my back is killing me at night. But now im sitting here not sure how to even position it properly lol. How do u all actually use it for sleeping?
The trick is side sleeping, ideally left side. Keep one section between your knees to align hips, and lean the body part against your belly and back for support. Takes a night or two to get used to but then u sleep way better.
Currently in love with my pregnancy pillow more than anything else haha. I wrap it around me, one part under the belly and one between legs. By third trimester this thing is your best friend, trust me.
Just hug it like a teddy yaar, knee between the bottom part and rest your bump on the side. Dont overthink the position, whatever feels comfy for you is right.
Honestly u dont always need a fancy one. I just put a regular pillow between my knees and one behind my back while sleeping on left side. Worked the same and saved money. The big U pillows are nice but bulky.
I used a C shaped one and it was such a relief. You tuck it between your knees and hug the front part, supports the belly and back together. It also helped me after my c section to sit up and feed comfortably.
