How to use witch hazel for hemorrhoids during pregnancy?

Im 7 months now and the piles issue has become so uncomfortable, sitting is a task. Read somewhere that witch hazel helps but not sure how to use it safely now. Has anyone tried it during pregnancy? pls tell me how u used it.

Piles in pregnancy and after delivery are so uncomfortable, I really feel for you. I used cool compresses and my doctor told me which soothing things were okay for me. Please just check with your gynac before using witch hazel so its safe for you.

Witch hazel pads are a common soothing option but I would still run it past your doctor in pregnancy. For me, lots of fibre, water and not straining helped the most. If there is heavy bleeding or a lot of pain, see your gynac.
