Theres a family function next month and ill be around 6 months by then. I usually wear saree but no idea how to tie it comfortably over the bump without it feeling tight. Any tips on draping it?
Actually I just tied the saree below my belly, loosely yaar. Dont knot the petticoat too tight, keep it comfy. Used a soft cotton one mostly, it was so much easier to manage.
My MIL helped me drape it below the bump and pinned the pleats so they wouldnt come undone. She said tie the cord loose so it doesnt press the tummy. Worked well for me at functions.
I switched to maternity petticoats with elastic, saved so much time in the morning. Just drape normally but keep everything below the belly. Pre stitched sarees are also a lifesaver if u r in a hurry.
